Using Creative Commons to license your work

The first official blog is here. As I want this to be a place to share ideas, I believe it is best to start with understanding how to license your work.
Let’s start with copyright.
Did you know you already own your OWN work? If you use the full copyright then it restricts the
use of it. As a teacher, you want to share with other educators to share with their students.
Using Creative Commons provides a way to license your work.  The best part is that it is easy
and free to do.
This screencast will show how you can license your work.

The Steps:

  1. Navigate to Creative Commons
  2. Click on the Share Your Work tab
  3. Make "Licensing Considerations" to confirm the licensing process.
  4. Read the last line that suggests how to decide which license you should use
  5. Click on the yellow "Get Started Button"
  6. Follow the instructions on the path
